Job Responsibilities:
-
Deliver nursing care using the Nursing Process per Kentucky Nurse Practice Act and facility policies
-
Apply critical thinking and clinical judgment to anticipate and provide safe care
-
Delegate and supervise care based on staff competencies
-
Maintain current clinical competencies via continuing education
-
Demonstrate leadership in patient care planning and implementation
-
Provide care for complex patients, including those on ventilators and with tracheostomies
Required Qualifications:
-
Experience:
-
Minimum of 2 years recent experience in Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC)
-
Ventilator and tracheostomy patient care experience
-

Certifications (must be through the American Heart Association):
-
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
-
BLS (Basic Life Support)

License:

Active Kentucky (KY) RN license (must be submitted with resume)
