Job Location: Fremont, MI
Job duration: 3+ Months (Possibilities of Extension)
 
Shift – Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Every Other Weekend

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled RN to join our Emergency Department team. The RN will provide high-quality, evidence-based care using the nursing process and will act as a patient advocate within an interdisciplinary team. This role requires strong clinical judgment, effective communication, and the ability to respond to high-pressure situations with professionalism.
 
Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, holistic care.
• Provide direct patient care based on evidence-based practices and the nursing process.
• Advocate for patient and family needs, ensuring safety and confidentiality.
• Assess patient conditions, plan and implement care strategies, and evaluate outcomes.
• Participate in discharge planning and patient education.
• Accurately complete timely documentation.
• Demonstrate leadership and delegate tasks appropriately.
• Contribute to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.

• Active RN License – State of Michigan
• Associate’s degree in nursing required; BSN preferred or must be obtained within 5 years of hire
• Minimum of one year emergency or critical care experience preferred
• Successful completion of a competency-based orientation
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills

• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
• PALS (AHA)
• TNCC (ENA)
• ENPC (ENA)
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification (NIHSS)
