Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – PACU (local /travel) 
Location: Hackensack, NJ
Job duration: 3+ months of contract (Possibilities of Extension)

Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Shifts: 4x10-hour shifts
Additional Info: No weekends, no holidays, and no on-call requirements.
 
 
Payrate: $60 to $65/hr on w2 
NON-TAXABLE STIPEND offered 50 miles and above. 

Job Summary:
The PACU Registered Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit. This includes assessing patients, planning and implementing care, and supporting physicians in clinical procedures. The RN will advocate for evidence-based practices and deliver care aligned with the professional nursing model.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, plan, and document nursing care based on patient needs and clinical priorities
  • Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage patient care post-surgery
  • Conduct initial and ongoing assessments to create individualized care plans
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
  • Deliver patient-centric care in alignment with established standards and protocols
  • Maintain accurate documentation and uphold safety and quality standards
  • Support innovation and adoption of evidence-based care practices

Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 years of recent PACU and critical care experience
  • BSN preferred
  • Current NJ RN license or multi-state compact license
  • BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS
  • Telemetry certification
