Job Title: RN - Labor and delivery
Location Available: Waxahachie, TX
Duration: 3 Months+ Contract (Possibility of extension)
Shift: Nights (7 pm - 7:30 am)3*12
Candidate must live 50 miles above

Requirements:
- Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in nursing
- Active RN License
- BLS/ACLS-AHA.
- NRP
- Fetal Monitoring
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Continuous or intermittent fetal heart rate monitoring (via EFM).
- Monitor uterine contractions and maternal vitals.
- Assess cervical dilation and effacement (in some cases).
- Offer physical and emotional support to the laboring individual and their support person(s).
- Guide through breathing techniques, pain management options, and pushing during delivery.
- Administer IV medications or epidurals as ordered.
- Support non-pharmacological methods (e.g., breathing techniques, position changes, hydrotherapy).
- Prepare for and assist during cesarean sections (if scrub trained or as circulating nurse).
- Set up and manage sterile delivery instruments and supplies.
