Job Title: RN – Nurse Educator
Location: Brooklyn, NY 11206
Duration: 05/13/2026 – 08/15/2026
Shift: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Schedule: 5 days/week, 7.5 hrs/day, 37.5 hrs/week, No on-call
Schedule Notes: The expectation is that the candidate will provide coverage for all inpatient MCH (L&D, NICU, MBU, Peds). We require strong L&D skills with a minimum of 2 years of experience. Masters in Education strongly preferred Will support education for labor and delivery, NICU, post partum. 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience is required Will not extend past original 13 week engt
Work Setting: Hospital – Nursing Inservice Education (Maternal Child Health)
Pay Range: $75-$80/hr.
Requirements
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
- Strong clinical background
- Experience supporting education in L&D, NICU, postpartum, and pediatrics
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- N/A
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN)
Certifications & Licensure
- Active New York State RN License
- Primary Source Verification from NYSED
- AHA BLS
Job Summary
Provides nursing education support across inpatient Maternal Child Health units including Labor & Delivery, NICU, Mother-Baby, and Pediatrics. Supports clinical training, competency development, and staff education initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide education support across L&D, NICU, postpartum, and pediatric units
- Assist in clinical training and competency development
- Support staff education and onboarding initiatives
- Collaborate with nursing leadership to maintain clinical standards
- Ensure adherence to best practices in maternal and neonatal care
