Job Duties:
- Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.
- Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.
- Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team.
- Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
- BLS.
- Registered Nurse.
- Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the unit/department to which staff is assigned.
- Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
- Cath lab experience.
- ICU experience.
- Complex PCI, structural, and mechanical circulatory support IABP, Impella, ECMO.
- Shift is 6:30am - 7:00pm, call is week night 7:00pm - 6:30am, and weekends Friday-Monday, 7:00pm- 630am.
- Number of call shifts is APPROX.
- 4-6 shifts per 6 week schedule.
- Every 12th weekend.
Schedule Hours Per Day: 12.00
Schedule Days Per Week: 3.00
