Location: Neptune, NJ
Duration: 3 +Months (Possibility of extension)
Shift Time: Day Shift| 36hr/3 Shift week | Every other weekend & holidays required
Local Pay Range: $65.00/hr on W2
Note: PER DIEM RATES PROVIDED TO THE CANDIDATE LIVING MORE THAN 50 MILES FROM THE FACILITY.

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) and Chemotherapy Oncology unit. The RN collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care. This role emphasizes evidence-based practice, clinical excellence, and compassionate care for patients with complex oncology needs, including leukemia and lymphoma.

The RN collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care. This role emphasizes evidence-based practice, clinical excellence, and compassionate care for patients with complex oncology needs, including leukemia and lymphoma.
Responsibilities Include:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments based on medical diagnoses and individualized needs.
- Develop, implement, and continuously update patient-centered care plans.
- Administer and manage chemotherapy and other therapeutic interventions safely and effectively.
- Monitor, evaluate, and document patient progress in accordance with clinical standards and organizational policies.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care delivery.
- Prioritize patient care based on acuity and clinical needs.
- Advocate for and implement evidence-based nursing practices and innovations in care delivery.
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all nursing activities.
- Float to other units as required and perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Certifications & Licence:
- Minimum 2+ years of recent experience in adult oncology (inpatient setting), with a focus on leukemia and lymphoma.
- Active NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License or Multi-State Compact License
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS (AHA)
- ONS or ONCC Certification
