Years of Experience: Prefer at least 2 years ED experience

Float Requirements: May be scheduled at either Biddeford or Sanford campuses.

Education & Certifications Required:

Required Certifications (will this be consistent for all similar skillset on unit or specific to this Position Request) :

BLS, ACLS, PALS

Education Modules (will this be consistent for all similar skillset on unit or specific to this Position Request) :

All pertinent learning modules as assigned per hospital policy

Unit Information:

Number of Beds: Biddeford: 49 beds; Sanford: 25

Patient Ratios: Vary

Equipment: General ED equipment

EMR: EPIC

Hiring Profile:

Must Have Skills/Experience: General ED experience

Preferred Skillset/Experience: All areas of ED nursing

Personality Fit: Able to easily prioritize in a busy emergency department. Solid critical thinking skills. Compassionate caregiver who enProducts interacting with a multitude of different types of patients. Team player.

Scrub Color: Any

Any unacceptable attire: Must wear scrubs. No plain clothes or clothing with wording.

Misc./Other Information:

Will be scheduled to fill in any holes necessary throughout the scheduling period, including weekends up to contracted hours.

Expected to follow hospital policies including but not limited to completion of annual skills fair, learning modules, 1 day orientation, proper patient identification protocols with 100 percent compliance.
