Duration: 3 + Months (Possibilities of Extension)
Job Summary:
Acts as a leader in delivering patient care using the nursing process within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses, and organizational standards. Delegates and supports licensed and ancillary team members while maintaining accountability for quality patient outcomes. Demonstrates cultural sensitivity and professional accountability, contributing to the achievement of unit and department goals.

Education:
- Required: Registered Nurse Diploma
- Preferred: Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
Experience:
- Minimum 2+ years of nursing experience
Certifications:
- Current RN license in the state of practice (required)
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Preferred: Specialty clinical certification
Key Skills & Abilities:
- Proficiency with computers, software, and web applications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Self-directed with sound judgment
Primary Duties:
- Deliver patient care using the nursing process
- Assess patient/family learning needs and implement tailored teaching
- Effectively delegate and manage nursing resources
- Collaborate as a leader on interdisciplinary teams
- Utilize data to promote quality improvements and optimal patient outcomes
- Support patient privacy and culturally appropriate communication
- Maintain compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies
- Report any compliance or safety concerns promptly
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Physical & Environmental Demands:
- May require exerting 10-100 pounds of force occasionally, with frequent walking or standing
- Exposure to blood, body fluids, tissues, and potentially communicable diseases
- Possible occupational exposure to hazardous medications or waste
