Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery
Location: West Bloomfield, MI 48322
Duration: 3 Months+ (Possible Extension)

Openings:

• 1 Night Shift.
• 1 Day Shift.
   

• Interview required (will be scheduled in Magnit).
• Unit: Labor & Delivery (L&D).
• Must have BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications (candidates without these will be rejected).
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required.
• Post-Partum experience required.

• Provides leadership in coordinating and delivering quality, compassionate patient care.
• Utilizes the nursing process — assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation — to provide, delegate, supervise, and document patient care and education for patients and families.
• Communicates pertinent patient and family information effectively to the healthcare team.
• Participates in identifying and resolving variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of appropriate solutions.

• Required: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
• BLS.

• ACLS.
• NRP.

• Clinical knowledge and analytical skills necessary to develop effective nursing care plans within the assigned unit/department.
• Ability to perform a wide range of professional nursing services.
• Strong communication skills with patients, families, and hospital staff.

• Hours per Week: 36.
• Hours per Day: 12.
• Days per Week: 3.
