Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse (LVN/LPN) - Critical Need
Job Title: LVN / LPN – Radiology (Breast Procedures)
Location: Atlanta, GA – 30328
Contract Length: 13+ Weeks (Extension Possible)
Schedule: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (Occasional Weekends)
Pay Rate: Best in Market
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated LVN/LPN to support the Radiology Department in a clinical setting. This role involves assisting with pre- and post-procedure care for breast biopsy procedures. Candidates with procedural or clinical experience are preferred; however, training will be provided for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with pre- and post-procedure patient care for breast biopsy procedures
- Support procedures including:
- Stereotactic breast biopsy
- SAVI Scout procedures
- Breast ultrasound biopsy
- Monitor and prepare patients before and after procedures
- Provide patient education and support
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Assist radiology staff and physicians as needed
- Follow infection control and safety protocols
Requirements:
- Active LVN/LPN license (Georgia)
- BLS Certification required
- Prior procedural or clinical experience preferred
- Willingness to learn and be trained if needed
- Strong patient care and communication skills
