RN - Med-Surg/Neuro

Job Title: Registered Nurse Med Surg/Neurology (RN - Neurology)
Location: Albany, NY
Duration: 13 Weeks with possible extension
Pay Range: $65 $68/hr
We are also offering travel and per diem packages that is based on eligibility.

• Work Hours: 36 hours per week

• Shift Timing: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM

Seeking an experienced Travel Neurology RN to join a dynamic neuroscience care team. The role requires Epic EMR experience, and depending on experience, candidates may need to complete a competency test within 48 hours of submission. Nurses with 2+ years of total RN experience are exempt from testing. The unit manages patients with neurological conditions such as strokes, seizures, spinal cord injuries, and post-neurosurgical care. Navy blue scrubs are mandatory.

• Deliver nursing care to patients with acute and chronic neurological conditions

• Monitor neurological status, perform neuro checks, and manage seizure precautions

• Assist with medication administration, mobility support, and ADLs

• Collaborate with neurologists and rehabilitation therapists for optimal outcomes

• Accurately document patient care using Epic EMR

• Epic EMR Experience: Required

Experience Options:

• Option 1: 2 years RN experience (No testing required)

• Option 2: 1 year RN experience in a 600+ bed academic hospital with passing competency test score (Required)

Competency Test:

• Must be completed within 48 hours of submission

• Test link will be sent via HSH to candidate s email (must be current and accurate)

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program

License:

• NY RN License (Active only; no pending licenses accepted)

Dress Code:

• Navy Blue Scrubs (Required)
