Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery
Location: West Bloomfield, MI 48322
Duration: 3+ Months (Possible Extension)
Shift: 07:00 – 19:30
Unit: Labor & Delivery (L&D)
Job Summary:
- Provides leadership in coordinating and delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care.
- Utilizes the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to provide, delegate, supervise, and document patient care and education for patients and their families.
- Effectively communicates relevant patient and family information to the healthcare team.
- Actively participates in identifying and resolving variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of appropriate solutions.
Education:
- Required: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Certifications & Licensure:
- Required: Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
- BLS certification.
Skills & Experience:
- Strong clinical knowledge and analytical skills to develop effective nursing care plans.
- Ability to perform a wide range of professional nursing duties.
- Effective communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare staff.

Additional Requirements:
- Must have BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications (mandatory).
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required.
- Post-Partum experience required.

- Hours per Day: 12
- Days per Week: 3
