RN - Labor & Delivery
Position: Registered Nurse Labor & Delivery (Night Shift)
Shift: Nights (7:00 PM start)
Location: West Bloomfield, MI
Facility Address: 6777 W. Maple Road
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours: 40 hours/week (8 hours/day, 5 days/week)
Openings: 1
Interview Process: Interview required (scheduled in Magnit)
Job Summary
Provides leadership in coordinating and delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing processassessment, planning, implementation, and evaluationto deliver, delegate, supervise, and document patient care and education for patients and families.
Communicates effectively with the healthcare team regarding patient and family needs. Actively participates in identifying and resolving variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of appropriate solutions.
Education
- Required: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Certifications & Licensure
-
Required:
- Current Michigan State Board of Nursing license
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- Note: Candidates without required certifications will be rejected
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience (required)
- Postpartum experience (required)
Skills
- Strong clinical knowledge and analytical ability to develop effective nursing care plans
- Ability to perform a wide range of professional nursing duties
- Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare staff
