Job Title: RN - Labor & Delivery
Location: Salinas, CA 93901
Assignment Length: 3 Months+ (possibility of extension)
 
Shifts options: Night 7 pm – 7 am / Day 7 am – 7 pm 
Schedule: 36 hours per week (3x12-hour shifts)
 
Pay Rate: $80 - $85/hr. on W2
 
Note: STIPEND IS ALSO PROVIDED TO THE CANDIDATE LIVING MORE THAN 50 MILES FROM THE FACILITY. REFERRAL BONUS ON EACH SUCCESFUL REFERRAL.
 
Job Duties:

• Completes nursing assessment of patient, and documents appropriately into patient record. 
• Develops a plan of care based upon the assessment of patient, age appropriate and developmental needs of the patient. 
• Collaborates with physicians and other health team members in developing a plan of care. 
• Provides, delegates, and coordinates the plan of care. 
• Initiates, manages, and participates in discharge planning. 
• Initiates, manages, and participates in patient/family teaching. 
• Demonstrates implementation skills in accordance with Policies and Procedures. 
• Evaluates and updates patient’s response to plan of care. 
• Maintains professional standards by participating in inservices, committees, and performance improvement activities, etc

• Minimum 2 years experience as L&D RN
• Current California RN license - Required
• Current BLS, ACLS and NRP
• Epic Experience Required: Minimum of 6–12 months within the past year
