Job Responsibilities:
Clinical Care & Treatment:
- Provide acute episodic ambulatory care, occupational injury/illness care, and health and wellness counseling for employees.
- Review clinical data, lab/imaging results, and initiate interventions or referrals as appropriate.
- Manage a patient caseload requiring independent judgment and advanced clinical skills.
- Administer emergency (first-aid) treatment and coordinate external care when needed.
- Deliver subcutaneous immunotherapy under allergist guidance.
- Provide travel health services, including vaccination, prescriptions, and counseling.
- Administer preventive health evaluations and tests per company protocols.
- Conduct health screenings and drug testing per program guidelines.
Occupational Health & Compliance:
- Collaborate cross-functionally to promote safe work environments.
- Participate in investigations of health-related complaints/issues and take corrective action.
- Support Workers’ Compensation and medical leave processes.
- Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records in EMR systems.
- Ensure compliance with nursing practice standards, policies, and legal requirements.
- Understand and manage occupational hazards and exposures specific to the worksite.
Leadership & Coordination:
- Act as a coach/mentor for junior nursing colleagues.
- Serve as an active member of the First Aid/Emergency Response Team.
- Liaise with medical providers to ensure compliance with billing procedures.
- Provide guidance and education to employees and first aid personnel.
- Contribute to internal projects, cross-functional teams, and service effectiveness evaluations.
Administrative & Support Functions:
- Assist in maintaining the clinic in a clean, orderly, and compliant state.
- Support the operational needs of Occupational Health Clinics.
- Participate in the promotion of health services and company wellness programs.
- Educate employees about the organization’s health resources and benefits.
Professional Development:
- Attend continuing education programs.
- Maintain valid nursing licenses and certifications.
- Stay current with regulations and standards (e.g., OSHA, FMLA, ADA, Workers' Comp).
