RN Navigator – Outpatient Clinic

Job Title: RN Navigator – Outpatient Clinic 
Location: Duluth, GA - 30096
Duration: 3+ Months (Possible Extension)
Schedule: 7:45 AM – 4:15 PM
Hours: 40 Hours per Week
Weekends: Included (Rotational)
 
Position Summary:
The RN Navigator in the GI Outpatient Clinic is responsible for coordinating patient care across the healthcare continuum. This role focuses on patient education, clinical support, and care coordination to ensure timely access to quality medical and psychosocial services.
 
Responsibilities:

• Provide patient education and resources to support informed healthcare decisions
• Coordinate care throughout all phases of treatment
• Perform patient assessments and clinical triage for new and existing patients
• Communicate with patients via phone, in person, and electronic methods
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Support patients participating in clinical research studies when applicable
• Perform clinical duties including NG tube management
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation

 
Required Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Outpatient or clinic experience
• Strong patient assessment and triage skills
• Experience with patient education and care coordination
• Strong communication skills

 
Preferred Qualifications:

• GI clinic experience
• RN Navigator experience
• Experience in outpatient specialty clinics
