Job Title: RN – Labor & Delivery (Critical Need)
Location: San Francisco California - (Other Locations : Modesto, Vacaville)
Duration: 13 Weeks (Possible Extension)
Schedule: 36 hrs/week | 3x12 Nights
Shift: 07:00 PM – 07:30 AM
 
Job Summary
The L&D RN provides comprehensive care to patients during labor and delivery, including monitoring, medication administration, and emergency response, while ensuring the safety of both mother and newborn.

Responsibilities

• Monitor maternal and fetal conditions
• Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries
• Administer medications and IV therapies
• Provide care during high-risk pregnancies
• Collaborate with OB/GYN, anesthesiologists, and NICU teams
• Document patient care accurately

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year recent L&D experience (within last 3 years)
• Active RN License (CA or compact if applicable)
• BLS, NRP, AWHONN certifications
• Experience in acute care hospital setting

Must-Have

• 1+ year recent Labor & Delivery RN experience
• Active RN License
• BLS + NRP + AWHONN
• Experience with fetal monitoring & labor management

Nice-to-Have

• 5+ years L&D experience
• High-risk OB experience
• BSN degree
• Experience in Level II/III NICU supported facilities
