Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery
Location: Morristown, NJ 07960
Duration: 3+ months contract (Possibilities of Extension)

Shift: 7 am to 7:30 pm (3*12) hours shift, every other weekend required. Holidays as needed.
Pay rate: $69/hour on W2

Note: Non-Taxable Per Diem is provided to the qualified candidate living more than 50 miles from the facility.
 
Duties:
  • Demonstrates knowledge of policies and procedures and is able to identify areas for clinical and professional growth.
  • A Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery (RN L&D) provides specialized care to women during childbirth, monitoring both the mother and baby, administering medications, and offering emotional support throughout the Labor and Delivery process.
  • Consistently follows the National Patient Safety Goals including following Universal Protocol and identifying patient’s utilizing 2 patient identifiers.
  • Monitoring vital signs, fetal heart rate, and contractions, and assessing cervical dilation. 
  • Demonstrates knowledge and skill of emergency equipment and procedures.

Requirement:
  • RN NJ license or Multistate compact license
  • BLS - AHA
  • ACLS - AHA
  • NRP
