Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Psych
Location: Centre Hall, PA 16828
Duration: 3 Months+ (possibility of extension)
Unit: Psychiatric Services (Adult, Adolescent, Stabilization)
Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)
Schedule: Full-Time
Licensure Requirements:
Position Overview:
The Psychiatric Registered Nurse provides safe, therapeutic, and patient-centered nursing care across multiple psychiatric units. Nurses must be flexible and able to float between Adult, Adolescent, and Stabilization units based on operational needs.

Location: Centre Hall, PA 16828
Duration: 3 Months+ (possibility of extension)
Unit: Psychiatric Services (Adult, Adolescent, Stabilization)

Schedule: Full-Time
- Every other weekend required
- Holiday rotation required
Licensure Requirements:
- Pennsylvania RN License required for candidates residing in PA
- Compact RN License accepted for candidates residing outside of PA
Position Overview:
The Psychiatric Registered Nurse provides safe, therapeutic, and patient-centered nursing care across multiple psychiatric units. Nurses must be flexible and able to float between Adult, Adolescent, and Stabilization units based on operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive psychiatric nursing care in accordance with established standards and protocols
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses
- Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for patients and staff
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient stabilization and recovery
- Accurately document patient care and clinical observations
- Float between psychiatric units (Adult, Adolescent, Stabilization) as needed
Scheduling & Floating:
- 12-hour night shifts (7 pm – 7:30 am)
- Every other weekend required
- Holiday rotation required
- Floating required across all psychiatric units based on census and staffing needs
