Job Title: RN - Med-Surg Hematology/Oncology
Location: Albany, NY 
Duration: 8+ Weeks with possible extension
Pay Range: $65 – $70/hr.
We are also offering travel and per diem packages that is based on eligibility.

• Work Hours: 36 hours per week

• Shift Timing: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

We are seeking an experienced RN - Med-Surg Hematology/Oncology nurse to join a fast-paced hospital environment. The ideal candidate must have EPIC experience, a minimum of 2 years of oncology nursing experience, and be comfortable working night shifts. The role involves direct patient care for oncology patients, collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, and maintaining compliance with hospital and oncology protocols. Navy blue scrubs are required.

• Provide comprehensive care to oncology patients in an inpatient setting

• Administer chemotherapy and other oncology-specific treatments per protocol

• Monitor and document patient conditions using Epic EMR

• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and other healthcare professionals

• Adhere to infection control and hospital safety guidelines

• Support patients and families with empathy and education

• Float to other units as needed

Certifications:

• BLS (AHA) – Required

• ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Certification – Preferred

Experience:

• 2 years of inpatient oncology nursing experience – Required
  OR

• 1 year of experience at a 600+ bed academic hospital with successful competency test (test to be completed within 48 hours of submission)

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program – Required

• BSN – Preferred
