Job Title: RN - Mother Baby
Location: 1000 10th Ave, New York, NY 10019
Shift: Night Shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (Every Other Weekend Required)
Contract Type: 13 weeks (possible extension)
Hours: 34.5 hours/week, 11.5 hours/day, 3 days/week
Pay Rate: $71/hour (**Per-diem rates are also applicable for qualified candidates)
Role Overview:
The Clinical Nurse is a Registered Nurse responsible for providing safe, quality care to patients, with a focus on women and children. This includes applying nursing theory and research, managing patient care, collaborating with the healthcare team, and promoting patient education. The role involves critical thinking, patient care management, and the integration of evidence-based practices to improve quality and safety in a fast-paced hospital setting. The position requires experience in Postpartum and Antepartum care, as well as familiarity with newborn care.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Active NYS RN License
- BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications
- 2 years of Postpartum and Antepartum experience
- Newborn Nursery experience required
- Magnesium Sulfate experience (must be listed on resume)
- EPIC experience (preferred)
- 1 year of travel nursing experience for Travel positions

- Strong communication skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with Modified Primary Nursing care delivery model
