Shift Time: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Schedule: 3 days/week, 11.5 hours/day, 34.5 hours/week, No weekend, No holiday, No on-call, No float
Work Setting: Acute Care Hospital
Pay Range: $60-$65/hr.

Education:

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited educational institute

Licensure & Certifications:

• New York State RN License & Primary Source Verification

• AHA BLS

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 2 years Med/Surg experience in acute care or post-acute setting

• Recent experience within the past 1 year

• Physical assessment

• Medication administration

• Wound care

• Infection control

• IV therapy

• Post-operative care

• Patient education

• Telemetry monitoring

Job Summary:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans

• Provide bedside care to pre- and post-surgical patients

• Administer and document medications

• Perform clinical procedures such as IV insertion and catheterization

• Monitor patient vitals and report adverse reactions

• Collaborate with healthcare team on discharge planning

• Educate patients and families on procedures and care

• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

• Follow nursing standards and protocols
