Shift/Schedule: Day Shift, 12*3, 36hr/wk.
Position Overview:
Provides competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards. Reporting and accountable to the Nurse Manager/Director, the Clinical Nurse is responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care utilizing the nursing process in a hospital setting.

Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducts comprehensive patient assessments, recognizing complex situations and identifying physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety needs.
- Collaborates with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care.
- Demonstrates clinical competence in caring for patients with complex conditions while following all hospital and nursing standards, policies, and procedures.
- Provides patient and family education, assessing readiness and developmental level to ensure understanding and engagement in care.
- Actively participates in professional development through continued education, goal setting, and performance improvement activities.
- Promotes safe, clean, and cost-effective care while maintaining compliance with public policy and regulatory guidelines.
- Communicates effectively to ensure continuity of care, providing relevant updates to colleagues and supporting teamwork across departments.
- Engages in evidence-based practice by reviewing current research and sharing applicable findings with peers for improved patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the state of NC or Compact State.
- BLS, PALS
- 1 - 2 years OR experience with Peds.
