Job Title: RN – Medical/Surgical
Location: West Bend, WI 53095
Duration: 06/08/2026 – 09/10/2026
Shift: Day Shift – 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
Schedule: 3 days/week, 12 hrs/day, 36 hrs/week, Every other weekend required, Float as needed, No on-call required
Schedule Notes:
- 12 hour day shifts
- Float as needed
- Scrub Color/Dress Code: Any
- Fit Test required
- Color Vision Test required
Work Setting: Medical/Surgical / Inpatient Hospital
Required Skills & Experience:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Critical thinking skills
- Strong communication skills
- Organizational skills
- Professional knowledge of nursing theory and nursing practice
- Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in an inpatient environment
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of Medical/Surgical nursing experience preferred
Education:
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
Required Certifications & Licensure:
- Current Wisconsin RN License or Multi-State Nursing License from a participating Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Provider or AHA-approved equivalent
Job Summary:
- Provides nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient Medical/Surgical environment
- Demonstrates competency in care delivery for primarily adult patient populations following ANA Nursing Scope and Standards of Practice
Duties:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans
- Deliver direct patient care in an inpatient Medical/Surgical setting
- Coordinate patient care and communicate with interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and records
- Utilize critical thinking and clinical judgment in patient care delivery
- Adhere to nursing standards, policies, and hospital protocols
