RN - Operating Room

Job Title: RN - Operating Room
Location: Enid, OK 73701
Duration: 3 + Months (With possible extension)

Schedule: Day shift: 06:30 to 15:00 and on call is required
Days: Mon – Fri

Note: The candidate must be 100 miles away from the facility, as this is a contract role.

Requirements:

• A state professional registered nurse license or multi-state compact license is required.
• BLS and ACLS are required.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in an OR department is required.

 
Job Summary:

• The operating room nurse is responsible for scrubbing and/or circulating duties for operative procedures and department admissions to the operative suite.
• Adheres to standards and appropriate aseptic techniques.
• Consults and coordinates with team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate intraoperative patient care plans.
• Serves as a communication liaison to patients, families, and members of the operating team.
• Assembles equipment and supplies and ensures equipment is functional and supplies/implants are available.
