Job Title: RN - MED/SURG TELEMETRY
Job Location: Portland, ME
Job Duration: 2-3 Months (possibility of extension)
Shift: Night shift, 7:00pm - 7:30am
Years of Experience:
- > 1 year of travel experience.
Float Requirements:
- Per hospital need.
- Will float per unit’s float rotation guidelines.
Education & Certifications Required:
- BLS(AHA)
- Stroke, SI/Restraints, telemetry, blood glucose
Unit Information:
- Number of Beds: 18
- Patient Ratios: Day shift- goal 1:4, max 1:5. Night shift- goal 1:5, max 1:6
- Equipment: PLUM, Stryker.
- EMR: EPIC
Hiring Profile:
Must Have Skills/Experience:- Inpatient acute medical surgical experience.
- Telemetry.
- PCA, epidural, wound vac, IV pumps.
- Medical-Surgical.
- Mostly medical telemetry patients.
- Our unit is one of the stroke-certified units for the hospital.
- Positive attitude and teamwork centered.
- Flexible and adaptable.
Dress Code:
- Scrub Color: No specific color required
- Any unacceptable attire: All attire must meet hospital appearance policy.
