RN - Medical / Surgical

Job Title: Travel RN Medical / Surgical
Location: Santa Fe, NM 87505
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift/Schedule: Nights, 7:00 PM 7:00 AM

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide routine and complex nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation)
• Practice independently while managing clinical contingencies and patient care situations
• Administer medications and treatments, monitoring for effectiveness and side effects
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
• Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Educate patients, family members, and caregivers on care plans and health management
• Delegate tasks appropriately and collaborate with other healthcare providers
• Meet Client's competency standards (Leader of Self, Leader of Others, Leader of Leaders)

Requirements:

• RN License in state of employment or compact
• BLS certification from AHA required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in related nursing specialty (preferred)

Preferences:

• Experience in Med/Surg setting
• Ability to handle complex clinical situations independently
