Job Summary
The Med/Surg RN provides comprehensive patient care in a float pool setting, delivering care across multiple units including Med/Surg and Med/Tele, ensuring safe and effective treatment outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and monitoring
- Administer medications and treatments
- Assess and document patient condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Float across assigned units based on need
- Ensure compliance with hospital standards
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years acute care RN experience (Page 2)
- Active CA RN License
- BLS (AHA)
- Experience in Med/Surg and/or Tele
Must-Have
- 3+ years acute care RN experience
- Med/Surg experience
- Active CA RN License
- BLS certification
- Willingness to float between units
Nice-to-Have
- Telemetry experience
- Travel nursing experience
- Strong adaptability in float environments
