Registered Nurse (RN) - HTP Preop/PACU

Location: Hackensack, New Jersey, 07601
Duration: 11 weeks
Shift: 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Schedule: 4 days/week, 10 hours/day, 40 hours/week, No On-Call Required, Float within facility to like units
Work Setting: HTP Preop and Recovery Unit

Required:

• ASN

Preferred:

• BSN

Required:

• NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License or Multi-State Compact License

• BLS – AHA

• ACLS – AHA

• PALS

• Telemetry Certification

• 2 strong (recent) years of critical care, pre-op and Recovery/PACU experience

• Strong background in Telemetry

• Must be Telemetry certified

• 3+ years PACU experience

The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care.

• Plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patient needs

• Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation

• Develops, implements, and coordinates individualized plans of care through initial and ongoing assessments

• Initiates assessments based on patient problems or needs, physician diagnosis, and functional health framework

• Performs therapeutic nursing interventions

• Manages care of patients

• Documents care based on standards of practice, patient acuity, and clinical priorities

• Advocates for evidence-based practice standards and supports innovation in care delivery

• Provides patient-centric care aligned with professional nursing practice model

• Performs other duties as assigned
