Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse (LVN/LPN) to join our New Member Desk team. This role focuses on supporting the onboarding experience for new members by ensuring a smooth transition into care services, coordinating appointments, and connecting members with appropriate healthcare resources.
Responsibilities
- Conduct onboarding interactions for new members, including completion of onboarding questionnaires
- Schedule initial Primary Care Provider (PCP) appointments
- Assign and panel members to appropriate PCPs
- Assist members with navigation to additional services such as dental and specialty departments
- Provide clear communication and support to ensure a positive onboarding experience
- Maintain accurate documentation in systems and ensure compliance with healthcare standards
- Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate member care effectively
Required Qualifications
- Active LVN/LPN license in Oregon and Washington
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer proficiency and experience with healthcare systems
- Customer-service-oriented mindset
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in patient onboarding, care coordination, or member services
- Familiarity with scheduling systems and electronic health records (EHR)
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary healthcare setting
