- Job Title: RN – Emergency Department (ED)
- Location: Moreno Valley, CA
- Schedule: 3×12s | Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
- Duration: 13 Weeks (with potential extension)
- Pay Local: $60/hr - $70/hr -W2
- Pat Travel: $2500/week - $3000/week
- Note: Stipend is also provided to the candidate living more than 50 miles from the facility, we have other multiple locations available in CA
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments upon admission, addressing physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs.
- Reassess patient health status at least every shift and as conditions change.
- Develop, review, and update individualized care plans.
- Administer medications using the “7 Rights” and document patient response accurately.
- Perform procedures in alignment with hospital policy, sterile techniques, and patient privacy standards.
- Communicate promptly with physicians and interdisciplinary teams using SBAR for handoffs.
- Educate patients and families based on assessed needs and document teaching effectiveness.
- Adhere to National Patient Safety Goals and infection control protocols.
- Manage high-risk medications and respond appropriately to emergency situations, including Rapid Response and Code events.
- Demonstrate competency in disaster response, restraints management, and ED patient flow (including Rapid Medicine Evaluation).
- Provide care across the age continuum, from pediatrics to geriatrics.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Licensure: Active CA RN License
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC or ATCN, NIHSS, PALS, MAB or CPI
- Experience:
- Minimum 3 years in ED/Trauma (4 years preferred)
- At least 1 year of travel experience
