Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery
Location: West Bloomfield, MI 48322
Duration: 3+ Months contract (Possible Extension)
Schedule Notes: 07:00 – 19:30
Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse provides leadership in coordinating and delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care. This role utilizes the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to provide, delegate, supervise, and document patient care and education for patients and their families. The RN communicates effectively with the healthcare team and actively participates in identifying and implementing solutions when patient goals are not met.
Education:
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Preferred Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN).
Required Certification & Licensure:
- Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
- BLS
- ACLS
- NRP
Skills:
- Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the unit/department to which staff is assigned.
- Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
Schedule Notes:
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
- Post-Partum experience required
