Pay Rate: $43/hour negotiable (**Per-diem rates are also applicable for qualified candidates)
Schedule: Days: Monday to Thursday (4 days/week)
Hours: 7.5 hours/day, 30 hours/week

Role Overview:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides supportive and restorative nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or licensed physician/dentist. This role includes medication administration, specialized nursing tasks, and assistance in patient care, particularly within a clinical setting involving allergy testing, oral food challenges, and emergency care support.

Location: New York, NY

- Monday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
- Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
- Thursday: 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Role Overview:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides supportive and restorative nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or licensed physician/dentist. This role includes medication administration, specialized nursing tasks, and assistance in patient care, particularly within a clinical setting involving allergy testing, oral food challenges, and emergency care support.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Completion of an accredited educational program for LPN licensure.
- Licensure as an LPN by the New York State Department of Health.
- Successful completion of New York State DOH IV Therapy Initial Program and annual updates on IV therapy procedures.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) as required.
- Ability to perform routine nursing care in a structured setting.
- Competence in medication administration and IV therapy, including blood product administration.
- Strong communication skills for reporting and patient/family education.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a nursing team and follow delegated responsibilities.
- Emotional support skills to assist patients and families.
- Documentation proficiency according to unit-specific charting standards.
