Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Med Surg : Travel
Location: Palestine, TX
Duration: 3 Months+
Shift/Schedule: 12*3 (Days & Nights)
Job Responsibility:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments via various routes and document outcomes accurately.
- Monitor vital signs and patient responses, initiating corrective actions when needed.
- Operate and interpret readings from specialized medical equipment.
- Educate patients and families on surgical procedures, recovery, and home care needs.
- Provide bedside nursing care including dressing changes, catheter insertion, IV starts, etc.
- Support physicians during examinations and treatments.
- Respond promptly to emergencies using established protocols.
- Document care clearly, accurately, and in a timely manner.
- Participate in discharge planning and patient education.
- Manage time effectively to prioritize patient care tasks.
- Perform additional related duties as required by the facility.
Facility Requirement:
- 2+ Year of Experience in Med Surg role and Active BLS from AHA
