RN – Inpatient

Job Title: RN – Inpatient
Location: Menomonee Falls, WI
Duration: 3 Months / 13 weeks (High possibilities of extension or a fulltime based on business needs and individual performance)
Local/Travel pay is provided.
Shift: 12-hour Nights, Float as needed and every other weekend.


Job Description:

• Comprehensive Patient Care – Provide nursing care for adult patients with acute and chronic medical conditions in an inpatient medsurg unit.
• Medication Administration – Safely administer medications, including IV therapies, per physician orders and protocols.
• Patient Monitoring & Assessment – Perform ongoing assessments, monitor vital signs, and detect early signs of deterioration.
• Interdisciplinary Coordination – Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and case managers for holistic patient care.
• Patient & Family Education – Educate patients and families on disease management, medications, and discharge planning.

 
Required Experience:

• 1-2 years of experience in the relevant unit strongly desired.
• EPIC EMR experience required.

 
Required Education:

• Associates in Nursing required
• Bachelors in Nursing preferred

 
Required Certifications and Licenses:

• BLS (AHA)
• WI RN License or Compact State License
