Job Title: Occupational Health Nurse
Job Locations: Deer Park, TX 77079
Job Duration: 1 Year Contract (Possibility of going full-time)
Contract Terms: W2
Shift/Schedule: Monday – Friday, 5:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
Certification/Degree Requirements:
- COHN Preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive occupational health services in accordance with Client Health protocols and industry best practices.
- Achieve agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) while adapting approaches to meet local and individual needs.
- Act as a subject matter expert in occupational health, including ergonomics, disability management, and workplace accommodations.
- Maintain accurate, confidential occupational health records in compliance with applicable regulations.
- Provide direct care, assessment, and treatment for work-related illnesses or injuries.
- Collaborate with asset specialists, safety teams, and central health resources to address workplace health concerns.
- Implement and promote health and wellness programs to enhance employee well-being.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, workplace safety principles, and environmental health regulations.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) with an active license to practice in Texas.
- Proven occupational health nursing experience, preferably within a manufacturing, chemical, or industrial environment.
- COHN certification (Certified Occupational Health Nurse) preferred.
- In-depth understanding of OSHA requirements and workplace safety regulations.
