Clinical Nurse Manager
Job Title: Clinical Nurse Manager
Location: Brooklyn, New York, 11203
Duration: 03/10/2026 – 06/06/2026
Shift: Days (6:45 AM – 3:00 PM)
Schedule: 5 days/week, 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week
Work Setting: Nursing Administration – Long Term Care / Skilled Nursing Facility
Pay Range: $75-$80/hr.
Education
-
Graduate of an accredited RN program
-
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
Required Certifications & Licensure
-
NY State RN License
-
BLS (American Heart Association)
Required Skills & Experience
-
Acute or Long Term experience
-
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language fluently
-
Must meet or exceed all health standards and requirements for the position as established by NYDOH and all other regulatory agencies
-
Must meet the general health requirements set forth by the policies of this Center which includes a medical and physical examination
-
Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of fifty (50) pounds
-
Perform tasks that may involve exposure to resident blood/body fluids
-
Must be able to assist in evacuation of residents if necessary

Job Summary
The Clinical Nurse Manager coordinates delivery of resident care and is responsible for the recommendation, development, and implementation of policies and procedures. Serves as the leader of the unit and maintains operational oversight in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
Job Responsibilities

Builds relationships with residents and families and provides education

Ensures staff scheduling meets resident care needs and standards of care

Conducts staff meetings and disseminates information appropriately

Participates in policy development and regulatory compliance education

Oversees care planning process and facility policy adherence
-
Maintains infection control and safety standards
-
Ensures nursing documentation meets regulatory and facility requirements
-
Completes incident reporting and root cause analysis
-
Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams on nursing documentation and care planning
-
Assures documentation meets Department of Health requirements
-
Assesses resources and coordinates supplies, equipment, and services
-
Utilizes progressive disciplinary processes, coaching, and counseling
-
Follows resident abuse reporting regulations
-
Communicates regularly with Director of Nursing
-
Collaborates across shifts to maintain consistency of practice
-
Works with Nursing Education to provide in-service training and education
