Job Title: RN – Mother Baby Unit
Location: Milwaukee, WI 53226
Duration: 06/01/2026 – 09/03/2026
Shift: Rotating (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Schedule: 3 days/week, 12 hours/day, 36 hours/week
Pay Range: $67-$70/hr.
Schedule Notes:
- Rotating shifts as needed (07:00–19:30 or 19:00–07:30)
- Every other weekend if needed
- July 4th coverage required
- Cannot guarantee 3 consecutive shifts
- Must have postpartum experience (mothers and infants)
- Experience required with postpartum hemorrhage, cesarean sections, vaginal deliveries, magnesium sulfate, and breastfeeding
- LDRP experience ideal but not required
- Manager will call directly for interview
- Fit test required
- Dress code: Navy blue pants, top of choice (scrubs not provided)

Requirements / Skills:
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
- Postpartum experience required
- Clinical competence in mother-baby, antepartum, and nursery care
- Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice
- Experience managing postpartum patients and newborns
- Experience with postpartum hemorrhage, cesarean sections, and vaginal deliveries
- Experience administering magnesium sulfate
- Breastfeeding support experience
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- LDRP experience
- Additional coursework or certifications in Maternal-Newborn Nursing or Inpatient Obstetrics
Education:
Required Education:
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing
Preferred Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
Certifications & Licensure:
Required Certifications & Licensure:
- Current Wisconsin RN License or Multi-state Compact License (NLC)
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS)
- NRP (Academy of American Pediatrics)
Job Summary:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients in an inpatient maternal-newborn setting
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care for postpartum mothers and newborns
- Manage antepartum and nursery patient care
- Monitor and manage postpartum complications including hemorrhage
- Support cesarean and vaginal delivery recovery
- Administer medications including magnesium sulfate
- Provide breastfeeding education and support
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Maintain compliance with ANA standards of nursing practice
- Perform additional duties as assigned
