Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - LTAC
Location: Dayton, OH
Contract Duration: 3 Months+
Shift: Days/Nights (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM/7:00 PM to 7:00 AM) with every other weekend
Working hours/week: 36
Pay Range (Local): $35 - $40/hr. on W2
Pay (Travelers):
Hourly: $47.78
Weekly Gross: $1,720.15 (all-inclusive)
Weekly Per Diem: $712.15
W2 Rate: $28/hr
Job Description :
The Telemetry LPN/LVN provides care to critically ill patients requiring continuous cardiac and vital-sign monitoring. Responsibilities include bedside and remote telemetry monitoring, medication administration, dysrhythmia recognition, hemodynamic assessment, ventilator and oxygen-support monitoring, renal therapy support, and pre/post-procedure patient observation. The nurse must recognize early signs of cardiopulmonary emergencies and initiate stabilizing interventions.
The role requires strong clinical judgment, collaboration, patient/family education, and the ability to respond quickly to changes in patient condition.

Required Competencies:
- Dysrhythmia interpretation & telemetry monitoring
- Basic/advanced life support skills
- Hemodynamic monitoring & ABG interpretation
- Ventilator and non-invasive oxygen support assessment
- Medication dosage calculation & continuous infusion management
Facility Requirements:
- IV Certification (must be attached to profile)
- Active OH LPN or Compact License (must be attached to resume)
- BLS – American Heart Association only
