Job Title: RN Emergency Department Unit
Location: New York, NY
Shift: Evening Shift | 11:00 AM – 11:30 PM | Every Other Weekend (EOW) Required
Hours: 34.5 hours/week (3 days, 11.5 hours/day)
Contract duration: 13 weeks
Hourly rate: $67/hour on W2

Role Overview:
The Clinical Nurse provides safe, competent, and high-quality nursing care to patients in the Community Emergency Department. This role emphasizes relationship-centered care, critical thinking, patient education, and interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Licensure: NYS Registered Nurse (RN) License required.
• Education:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
  • Associate Degree in Nursing considered only with relevant experience or active BSN matriculation.
• Certifications:
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – Required
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification – Required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred.
• Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience Required.
  • Pediatric experience is Required.
• Technical Skills: EPIC experience highly preferred.
• Other:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume ED (daily visits approx. 180-200).
  • Familiarity with zoning/primary care nursing models.
