RN - Maternal Special Care
Job Title: Registered Nurse Maternal Special Care
Location: Albany, NY
Duration: 13 Weeks with possible extension
Pay Range: $70 $75/hr
We are also offering travel and per diem packages that is based on eligibility.

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse with advanced clinical skills and the ability to care for patients with high-risk conditions. Applicants must have recent Epic EMR experience and meet certification requirements for labor and delivery.
Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients

Assist with Cesarean Sections, Inductions, Bariatric patients, and other high-risk cases

Monitor fetal and maternal status, administer medications, and perform assessments

Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams in urgent and emergent situations

Educate patients and families regarding labor, delivery, and postpartum care

Document all patient care accurately using Epic EMR
Skills & Requirements:

Epic EMR Experience: Required
Certifications:
-
BLS, ACLS, NRP, EFM (Required)
-
EFM National Certification Corporation or Intermediate AWHONN issued within the past 3 years (Proof of class registration acceptable at submission; certification required for compliance)
Experience:
-
Minimum 2 years L&D experience required

High-risk labor & delivery experience preferred
Education:

Graduate of an accredited nursing program
License:

NY RN License (Active only; no pending licenses accepted)
