Job Title: RN Cardiac Surgical ICU (CSICU)
Location: New York, NY
Shift: Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
Hours: 34.5 hours/week, 11.5 hours/day, 3 days/week
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Pay Rate: $60/hour negotiable (**Per-diem rates are also applicable for qualified candidates)

Role Overview
Clinical Nurse provides safe, competent, and high-quality nursing care to patients in the Cardiac Surgical ICU and Coronary Care Unit. The nurse applies nursing theory, evidence-based practice, and critical thinking to assess, plan, and deliver care, while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and a positive patient experience.

Qualifications & Skills
Education & Licensure

• BSN required
• New York State RN License required.
• BLS certification required.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience.
• Minimum 2 years Post Open Heart / Cardiac Care Unit experience.
• 1 year travel experience preferred for Travel positions.

Skills & Competencies

• EPIC experience highly preferred.
• Strong patient assessment, critical thinking, and care management skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration within interdisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of nursing standards, evidence-based practices, and safety protocols.
