Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - L&D
Location: Tulsa, OK
Duration: Direct Placement | Full Time
Work Schedule:  Night Shift – 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (36 hours/week, 3 days/week)


Incentives: Sign-on/relocation bonus for eligible candidates (must live outside 71-mile radius and commit to 2-year agreement)
 
Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Provide care considering patient age, cultural, and psychosocial factors
• Document all aspects of patient care using proper medical terminology
• Monitor patient progress and address problems toward care goals
• Facilitate patient discharge with appropriate education and referrals
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Participate in performance improvement and educational activities
• Coordinate activities with team members and support hospital/unit goals
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff
• Work with patients and healthcare professionals in both direct and indirect care settings

 
Required Education:
Has completed the basic professional curricula of a school of nursing as approved and verified by a state board of nursing and holds or is entitled to hold a diploma or degree therefrom.

Required Certifications & Licensure:
Valid multi-state or State of Oklahoma Registered Nurse License.

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience.
• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Strong knowledge of disease management, clinical pathways, and patient care processes.
• Effective communication, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Attention to detail in clinical and numerical data.
• Experience in high-risk L&D settings.
• Ability to work in a high-volume unit (350 deliveries/month, 40% high-risk).
• Comfortable working in a facility with 20 L&D rooms, 11 OB triage rooms, and 3 surgical suites.
• Strong teamwork and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
