Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - L&D
Location: Tulsa, OK
Duration: Direct Placement | Full Time
Work Schedule: Night Shift – 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (36 hours/week, 3 days/week)
Incentives: Sign-on/relocation bonus for eligible candidates (must live outside 71-mile radius and commit to 2-year agreement)
Responsibilities:
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Provide care considering patient age, cultural, and psychosocial factors
- Document all aspects of patient care using proper medical terminology
- Monitor patient progress and address problems toward care goals
- Facilitate patient discharge with appropriate education and referrals
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Participate in performance improvement and educational activities
- Coordinate activities with team members and support hospital/unit goals
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff
- Work with patients and healthcare professionals in both direct and indirect care settings
Required Education:
Has completed the basic professional curricula of a school of nursing as approved and verified by a state board of nursing and holds or is entitled to hold a diploma or degree therefrom.
Required Certifications & Licensure:
Valid multi-state or State of Oklahoma Registered Nurse License.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience.
- Completion of an accredited nursing program.
- Strong knowledge of disease management, clinical pathways, and patient care processes.
- Effective communication, organizational, and prioritization skills.
- Attention to detail in clinical and numerical data.
- Experience in high-risk L&D settings.
- Ability to work in a high-volume unit (350 deliveries/month, 40% high-risk).
- Comfortable working in a facility with 20 L&D rooms, 11 OB triage rooms, and 3 surgical suites.
- Strong teamwork and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
