Job Location: Warren, MI 48093
Job Duration: 3 Months+ (Possibilities of Extension).
Shift: (3 days per week 7 PM to 7:30 AM)

Job Summary:
- Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.
- Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.
- Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team.
- Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.
Required Education:
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Preferred Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN).
Required Certification & Licensure:
- Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
- BLS
Required Skills & Experience:
- Must have 2 years of experience in specialty areas.
- Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the unit/department to which staff is assigned.
- Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel
Schedule Notes:
- Must have 2 years of experience in specialty areas.
- Must have BLS, ACLS must have basic dysrhythmia testing competency.
- Must be willing to float between ICU and stepdown this is a float assignment with daily staffing adjustments every 4hrs, with potential to be pulled to a new assignment in 4hr blocks of time 6-week.
