Job Title: RN - OR Circulating Nurse
Location: Rockport, ME 04856
Duration: 3+ months (of contract with possible extensions)
 
Floor: Operating Room.
 
Position Information:
• Facility Department/Cost Center: Operating Room/243.623273.
• Specialty: Operating Room.
• Number of Openings: 1.
• Shift: 07:00 – 4:30 PM, rotating day off.
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 hrs.
• Weekend Hours (36 unless otherwise noted): No weekend scheduled hours, just the on call requirements.
• Call Requirements: 1 weeknight call a week, 1630-0700 and 1 weekend (48hrs) of call every 6 weeks or so (dependent on staffing).
• Years of Experience: Minimum 5 years OR circulating experience.
• Float Requirements: Low census, team members may be asked to help on other units for 1:1, but that is not regular.
 
Education & Certifications Required:
• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS for being on call.
 
Education Modules:
• (Will this be consistent for all similar skillset on unit or specific to this Position Request.)
 
Unit Information:
• Number of Beds: 100 bed facility.
• Patient Ratios: Surgical patients, 1:1.
• Equipment: Standard OR equipment.
• EMR: EPIC.
 
Hiring Profile:
• Must Have Skills/Experience: Experience in a smaller facility OR. Needs experience in multiple service lines.
• Preferred Skillset/Experience: Client, Urology, OB/GYN, General, ENT.
• Type of Patients on Unit: Surgical patients.
• Personality Fit: Team player, willing to jump in and help with anything. Everyone helps with room turnovers.
