Duration: 3 - 4 Months+ Contract (Possibilities of Extension)
FTE: 0.9 (36 hours/week)
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (3x12s)
Schedule: Every Other Weekend (EOW), Every Other Holiday (EOH)
On-Call: No

Job Summary:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, within the scope of the LPN practice. This includes participating in interdisciplinary care planning, implementing patient care based on individualized biophysical and psychosocial needs, and monitoring patient outcomes. The LPN is responsible for safe medication administration, accurate documentation, and maintaining compliance with federal, state, and facility standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver care based on individualized patient needs and interdisciplinary plans.
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to supervising RN or clinical leadership.
- Administer medications in accordance with established protocols.
- Document patient care and status per unit policy and regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain licensure and continuing education as required by the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
- Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team and provide compassionate, safe patient care.
- Perform other assigned duties within the scope of the LPN role.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of a state-accredited practical nursing program.
- Licensure: Active LPN license in the state of North Carolina.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA approved.

- Ability to read, interpret, and apply clinical protocols and safety instructions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid math skills for medication administration.
- Problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
