Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery
Job Location: West Bloomfield, MI 48322
Job Duration: 3 Months (possibility of extension)
Shift: 7:00pm - 7:00am
 
Job Summary:

• The Registered Nurse provides leadership in coordinating and delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care.
• This role utilizes the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to provide, delegate, supervise, and document patient care and education for patients and their families.
• The RN communicates effectively with the healthcare team and actively participates in identifying and implementing solutions when patient goals are not met.

Required Education:

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.

Preferred Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN).

Required Certification & Licensure:

• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
• BLS.
• ACLS.
• NRP.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the unit/department to which staff is assigned.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

  Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience.
• Post-Partum experience required.
