Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU
Location: Dayton, OH 45417
Duration: 3 Months+ (Possible Extension)
Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (with every other weekend)
Compensation:
Position Overview:
The ICU RN will provide high-quality critical care to patients with complex and life-threatening conditions, including respiratory distress, cardiac events, trauma, stroke, and post-operative complications. The role requires strong clinical judgment and proficiency in managing advanced life-support equipment within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Minimum Requirements:
Location: Dayton, OH 45417
Duration: 3 Months+ (Possible Extension)
Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (with every other weekend)
Compensation:
- For Local- $55/hr. on W2
- For Traveler- $61.59/hr. on W2
- Weekly Gross (36 hours): $2,217.30 (All-Inclusive)
- Weekly Per Diem: $1,209.33
- $28/hr on W2
Position Overview:
The ICU RN will provide high-quality critical care to patients with complex and life-threatening conditions, including respiratory distress, cardiac events, trauma, stroke, and post-operative complications. The role requires strong clinical judgment and proficiency in managing advanced life-support equipment within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and implement individualized care plans.
- Manage ventilators, cardiac monitors, IABP, and other critical care equipment.
- Administer IV medications, fluids, and blood products as indicated.
- Provide tracheostomy care, suctioning, and advanced wound management.
- Assist physicians with bedside procedures.
- Monitor, document, and report patient status changes promptly.
- Respond effectively to emergencies in accordance with ACLS protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes..
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of recent LTACH experience (Trach & Vent and Wound Care required).
- Active OH RN License or Compact RN License (required at submission).
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association (must be attached at submission).
- Willingness to float to the LTAC unit based on census.
