Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU
Location: Dayton, OH 45417
Duration: 3 Months+ (Possible Extension)

Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (with every other weekend)

Compensation:

• For Local- $55/hr. on W2
• For Traveler- $61.59/hr. on W2
• Weekly Gross (36 hours): $2,217.30 (All-Inclusive)
• Weekly Per Diem: $1,209.33
• $28/hr on W2

 
Position Overview:
The ICU RN will provide high-quality critical care to patients with complex and life-threatening conditions, including respiratory distress, cardiac events, trauma, stroke, and post-operative complications. The role requires strong clinical judgment and proficiency in managing advanced life-support equipment within a fast-paced environment.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and implement individualized care plans.
• Manage ventilators, cardiac monitors, IABP, and other critical care equipment.
• Administer IV medications, fluids, and blood products as indicated.
• Provide tracheostomy care, suctioning, and advanced wound management.
• Assist physicians with bedside procedures.
• Monitor, document, and report patient status changes promptly.
• Respond effectively to emergencies in accordance with ACLS protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes..

 
Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of recent LTACH experience (Trach & Vent and Wound Care required).
• Active OH RN License or Compact RN License (required at submission).
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association (must be attached at submission).
• Willingness to float to the LTAC unit based on census.
