Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - OR
Job Location: Salinas, CA
Job Duration: 3 Months (possibility of extension)
Shift: Day shift (10x4)- 40 hrs.; During orientation: -Variable (8-hour & 5 days a week shifts)
Payrate: $70/ hr. on W2

Job Summary:

• The Registered Nurse (RN II) in the Operating Room provides comprehensive patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans.
• Works under the supervision of the Director and collaborates with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Perform and document patient assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members.
• Provide, delegate, and coordinate patient care.
• Participate in discharge planning and patient/family education.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress.
• Maintain safety, quality, and professional standards.
• Support team collaboration and effective communication.
• Act as preceptor or charge nurse as assigned.
• Unit is expanding with robotics and bariatrics programs.
• Flexibility required based on unit needs.

Required Qualifications:

• Active California RN License.
• BLS (AHA Healthcare Provider) – Required.
• Minimum 1 year RN clinical experience (OR preferred).

Preferred Qualifications:

• ACLS (AHA).
• Epic experience.
• Scrub experience (strongly preferred).

Clinical Experience (Preferred):

• Neuro, Robotics (DaVinci), Bariatrics, Open Heart, TAVR, Additional exposure to GYN, General Surgery, ENT, Thoracic, Vascular, Plastics, Eyes, Endovascular.
